It was a delight to work with Tracy Ellen Kamens when she presented an excellent seminar about South African wines at a Society of Wine Educators Conference not long ago. Tracy was very well-prepared with an on-target PowerPoint presentation and provided thoughtful commentary on all the wines that were tasted. She provided interesting context for the wines, giving just enough information about the country, the climate, its geology, wine-making history, and the people involved in today’s industry to keep the audience eagerly listening. Tracy is a fine public speaker, clear, engaging and friendly. She handles questions with aplomb. Her knowledge of wine is wide-ranging and her enthusiasm for the subject is truly inspiring.
